Brief
“The existing area just doesn’t work”. Create a space that works as a nexus; front entry, access to garage and side paths. Make it a space that we would be happy to come home and spend time in.
Approach
Working with Sticks & Stones to create a private courtyard that worked as a thoroughfare but didn’t feel like one when you were in it. We created a dense green space offering seclusion and privacy.
Outcome/Result
Creating a greater sense of arrival to the front door, while still offering a space to relax in the summer and enjoy a cocktail as the area will be shaded and the garden in full bloom. The water feature is calming, and aesthetically pleasing and can be used as seating. To increase functionality. This small garden offers a tranquil oasis to entertain and relax
